Yep, Facebook is broken again. Maybe it was those 360-degree videos. Kidding aside, we’ve tried to access the social network from several locations around the United States and, each time, we’ve been greeted by an error page. It looks like most of the outage pockets are on the northeast and west coast of the U.S., and in parts of Europe.
Facebook’s site simply says “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.” It has a button to redirect you to the last website you visited. Facebook, as far as we know, didn’t comment the last time that it went down — on September 17 — so we don’t expect any explanation this time.
You never know these days, though. Seems like every major company is constantly under attack. We’ll let you know if we hear more.
Update: It’s starting to come back online on both coasts, though seems to be running slower than usual and some Facebook Pages are still not operating.
