Two Nexus devices are set to be released on September 29, a Nexus 5-like handset manufactured by LG, and a phablet produced by Huawei. The Huawei Nexus is what we're tentatively calling the Nexus 6 (2015), because it's likely to be a similar size to the current Nexus 6 and, well, it's coming out this year. The other name doing the rounds is the Nexus 6X. So let's take a look at what we know about the Nexus 6 2015 release date, price, specs and rumors.
A report has also surfaced which claims that the Huawe-built Nexus will be called the Nexus 6P. Tech site Droid Lifecites a "reliable source" for the new device's naming convention. Will the new phone be named the Nexus 6P, alongside the smaller Nexus 5X model? We'll have to wait for later this month to find out.
Nexus 6 2015 design
A listing on Indian import/export website Zauba has suggested that the Nexus 6X will arrive with a 5.5-inch display. The document references the 'Huawei Angler' phone, which is the supposed codename for the Huawei Nexus device, and also indicates that it will arrive with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of Samsung eMMC storage space.
The document also hints that the Nexus 6 (2015) price will come in at 43,316 Indian Rupees, or just under US$649. Most earlier rumors had pointed towards a 5.7-inch display for the Nexus 6 (2015) though, and it's worth noting that the devices being shipped may be prototypes rather than the final product.
