Although Xiaomi's official launch event on Tuesday, the company has managed to drop hints about some hardware features of the upcoming Mi 4c smartphone.
Xiaomi has just mentioned that the Mi 4c smartphone will be packing a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor underneath as well as a 5MP front camera, while keeping the rest of the specs a secret at this point. Luckily, we don't have to wait much longer as the smartphone will be officially unveiled tomorrow.
The company has been teasing the arrival of the smartphone on social media for quite some time now, so these revelations haven't particularly surprised us.
The front camera was compared with the Apple iPhone 6 in a side-by-side comparison image posted by the President and co-founder of Xiaomi, Lin Bin. He mentioned that the 5MP camera on the front features a 85-degree wide angle lens which would capture better selfies and can even take more people in the frame as illustrated by the leaked image.
Other features that we know of includes double tap to wake/sleep and a long lasting battery, although the actual capacity is still a secret.
We'll bring you all the latest information from Xiaomi's Mi 4c launch event as it unfolds tomorrow. The smartphone will be revealed in China first, with a global release possibly following shortly after.
