Microsoft announces its budget Friendly $139 Lumia 550

Unknown

Microsoft’s event is still live, and the company has tried its best to keep it fast paced and passionate. We’ve already seen a couple of new devices announced like an update to the Microsoft Band, the Lumia 950, and the Lumia 950XL. Obviously one of the major targets of Microsoft has always been the budget-minded market, and for them there’s also a product.

Microsoft has just spent a few seconds to announce its new Lumia 550, along with the other flagships announced. We have a 4.7-inch 720p display powered by a 1.1 GHz Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of Storage, and you can expand that via microSD. It sports a 5 megapixel primary camera that’s matched by a 2 megapixel selfie shooter at the front, this is an LTE-capable smartphone, and we do have a 2100 mAh batter.

Yes, this is not the hottest smartphone in the world when it comes to specs, but when you consider all you’re buying for $139, it’s hard not to recommend this smartphone when you match specs and price tag. The biggest challenge will definitely be our review, and we’ll keep you posted on that.
