Google drops first-gen Moto 360 to a seriously tempting low price

Unknown
You can’t talk about smartwatches without talking about the Moto 360. One of the two Android Wear launch devices, the 360 wowed us not just because of the platform on which it ran, but also because of that at-the-time unparalleled circular display. Sure, we’ve seen the arrival of plenty of round smartwatches since, andMotorola itself has moved on to sales of its second-gen models, but the Moto 360 still holds a special place in our smartwatch-loving hearts. If you think there’s room for one on your wrist, now may be a great time to pick up last year’s model, as the Moto 360 hits a very attractive low price.
Motorola had already been discounting the first-gen 360 prior to the launch of its follow-ups, and before the company ended direct sales back in August, the price had slid all the way down to $150 – already a solid discount over the $250 launch price.
While Motorola only sells the new Moto 360, Google still carries the original wearable, and today it dials the smartwatch’s price down to just about $100.
Granted, your options are a little limited, with Google only having the black version of the Moto 360 in stock right now (and we wouldn’t hold our breath for new inventory arriving), but if you’re looking for a budget-priced smartwatch, you could do a whole lot worse.
