Samsung reportedly begins firmware development for Galaxy S7

Unknown

Samsung has really made a few statements with its launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The company has worked hard in re-inventing its flagship into something that customers would be proud to own, and we’ve seen significant levels of success in how the company is maintaining itself financially. Obviously the next challenge is to retain momentum, and for that we learn more of the future Galaxy.
Trusted sources claim that Samsung has already begun development for the firmware necessary for the Galaxy S7. For those of you keeping up, this is actually a later date to when the company began with the Galaxy S6, which could mean minor changes, or the possibility of a February announcement at MWC in Barcelona, instead of the rumored January event that we’ve heard about. The source claims that there are two variants of the firmware in development G930FXXU0AOK6 and G935FXXU0AOK6, which could either lead us to believe that there will be a regular and an Edge variant, or a larger and a smaller edge model.
We’re still far from these announcements, but hopefully the rumors will keep coming.
