YouTube Gaming app now supports direct mobile game broadcasting

Unknown
Gaming is a big deal on YouTube, up to the point where the people that are making the most money on the service, are actually focused on Gaming. The company’s approach to giving users a dedicated app for YouTube gamers was genius, as this gives users a quicker portal to the things that matter, and in a more organized way. Obviously those watching on a mobile device are most likely also mobile gamers, and a solution has arrived for that.
In the past, those YouTube gamers that wanted to upload their play of a mobile game would require a ton of tricks in order to make it happen. Today’s new Update to YouTube gaming now allows live gamers to use the YouTube Gaming app to broadcast their play directly. The update also allows you to donate to gamers, it now supports “Watch Later,” and it has an improved discovery experience.
At the moment, broadcasting is limited to Android phones running Android 5.0 Lollipop or later though. We’re not sure if it’ll extend to iOS in the future, but so far we can’t find it in the update log from yesterday. If you still don’t have the app, hit our source link.
