Android 6.1 Marshmallow to come in June with Split Screen

Unknown

We’re testing the Google Pixel C this week and one of the sadder things we had to say about it came in software: Android 6.0 Marshmallow wasn’t fit for a tablet. A team from Google committed during a Reddit AmA that split screen multitasking is “in the works,” but while they mentioned that in the context of Android “N” improvements, the two instances couldn’t be conflated.
It may be for good reason as a trusted source into Android Geeks has tipped us off to Android 6.1 Marshmallow for a June arrival. So, no, we don’t need another dessert debate going on.
… we say “Nerds,” though. See if Wonka will take Google up on that.
Anyways, there may be another revamp in the app permissions interface and the split screen interface will finally get pushed after first being seen just after Google I/O this year.
Does this give us an idea of what’s going on with the HTC device codenamed “Perfume?” Or are we getting things on the inverse, here?
