HTC One X9 appears in extensive set of new pics, hands-on video

Unknown

Sometimes when a phone leaks, we’re lucky to catch a blurred-out shot from afar, or maybe it’s even spotted in public but obscured by a bulky exterior case. Then there are phones like the HTC One X9 which seem to positively explode onto the scene with a rapidly increasing series of higher and higher quality until we reach the point where the phone might as well be out already. Just yesterday we took a look at what was then the best leaks of the hardware to date and today we’ve already got some new finds which simply blow those away, not only continuing with some high quality imagery of the hardware, but also delivering a ton of screenshots, a detailed first-hand account of the phone’s use, and even a hands-on video.
Over in China, the team at iMobile has already gotten their hands on a One X9 handset, and from the way they’re treating it, this feels like someone either lucked out in getting their hands on a fully functional, commercial-ready leak, broke an embargo (accidentally or not), or HTC has actually released this phone on the sly – it’s an incredibly detailed account, the likes of which we’re just not used to from yet-to-be-launched hardware.
While we’ve already heard a lot about the One X9’s hardware makeup, this report does add some worthwhile new details about how it should hit the market, including a price that comes out to about 2,000 Yuan – or about $300 US.
We’ll be taking a closer look at everything the review has to mention ourselves, but for the moment, check out these new pics, screenshots, and a re-hosted copy of the hands-on video – and there’s more of all that available through the source link. With all this out in the open, will we be getting a formal announcement from HTC soon?
